The Language History Questionnaire (LHQ)

is an important tool for assessing the language background of learners/speakers of multiple languages.

LHQ3 works the best when you use the following features

Thanks to native speaker volunteers and Google’s machine translation technology, LHQ3 has 44 language versions and 23 are proofread carefully.

Four aggregated scores can represent participants’ overall proficiency, dominance, and immersion levels in each of the languages concerned.

LHQ3 automatically generates bar plots, pie charts and violin plots to visualize your data. Users can work with different plots interactively.

Participants are able to access and complete LHQ3 on various platforms, including cell phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers.
